Spiritual Mediums Source of Fantasies
will always remain a source of extreme fantasies that one's weird mind can think of. They are always considered capable of pulling up one or the other out of thought amazing trick from the spirit world
But good things are always accompanied by the bad ones. Yeah you are getting right here, in the present time like in the past there are many people who try to fool masses by their fake tricks. In such cases one should always go with naturally psychic gifted abilities holder individuals.
I haven't got any bad experience like people have mentioned around the world from fake psychics. Probably for I have found a genuine truly blessed psychic who can accurately make prediction about anyone by only staying online for few moments. Isn't it nice to have a reading from a person who do not perceives to be going to turn the whole tide of time in a second for you.
To be true it takes some time to fix ones issues by psychics. But only few ones can really make this thing a happening for you. Enjoy having psychic readings
from a popular genuine psychic i.e. Meryem. Through her website www.meryem.com
you can get even more detailed information of her qualities. Current Mood: accomplished

July 18th full moon blessing/cleansing
I am going to do another full moon cleansing/blessing ritual on the 18th of JULY 2008..
The last month brought such a great response (over 50 people who wanted some positive light) that I have decided to continue on with this idea..
If you would like some positive energy sent your way please reply back to this thread via a comment and I assure you I will write your name down and focus my energy that night for you..
You are also, more than welcome to join me in this ritual this night by simultaneously joining in and doing your own ritual at home.. (the invocation can be found on my LJ homepage if you wish to use it)
We all need positive energy in our lives. =) BELIEVE IN KARMA.
Blessed be friends.

how do you get rid of someone elses energy?
I'm not sure if I am the only one who experiences this.. maybe because my clairsentient ability is quite high, im not sure..
When I am talking to someone and or consulting with them I can easilty tune in to what they are feeling and react according to it.
I'm only asking because I had a person who I was reading for yesterday who was very very emotionally upset-
to the point of being angry and mad at her situation and just couldn't see the clairity that I was trying to offer her..
It was so hard for me to get rid of her energy link after the reading, that had to take a breather -literally- outside, to get in touch with natures natural positive energy and balance myself once again.
So here is the discussion question to which I am posting now. Q: How do you as an empath get rido of the psychic link after the session is complete?

I am hoping to take classes in the chatrooms at some stage...and am looking for people who might be interested in modding or doing readings/taking classes on the site. Anyway, feel free to register and have a peek, you dont have to stay if you dont like it :)It has only been up for 3 days so needs speeding up a little :) Kate xx http://www.unityofspirit.co.uk/forum/index.php?act=idx

I have a couple of questions, actually, so I'll just throw them out there.
First, how closely related are the Spiritualism practices of today to those of the movement at the end of the 1800s/early 1900s? It seems that when you look for information on the subject, you get lots of reading on the Fox sisters and Victorian seances, but then it just... stops. What's happening today, and how closely can I compare what I have learned from the historical accountings to the modern movement?
Secondly, how do you people find each other? :) I've tried to find a meeting or group where I could ask these sorts of questions in person or observe in an effort to learn, and I can find nothing outside of a few small societies in the UK. Is that the only place to where Spiritualism is now relegated?

I thought I'd start an active group _spiritualists2
if anyone is interested :)

Just thought I'd join, just cuz I'm in a lot of other groups where people have similar interests and since that is my religion of CHOICE, I just wanted for them (If they wanted to lol) have a place to go and learn. I Was wondering how many here would actually define their religion as spiritualism? For me some life changing events forced me to alter my religious beliefs to adapt to what what happening. By religion, I mean something that you belive in so strongly it changes how you live your life. For me, the whole premise of the spiritualist religion is the afterlife, and in a way to prepare for it which changes how I live now. Ie, if I realize that if I die, or even do something to cause that, I'm just left with the same problems but less tools to deal with in the next life. I'm fairly passionate about that belief lol as you can tell from this post. But most of the time when I'm not talking about spiritualism I'm a lot more low key lol. sorry

Hi, I'm new here, just joined the community this evening along with My fiance alabastardragon
as We are on a spiritual quest of sorts. I am a practicing Roman Catholic who has a strong belief in spiritualism and contact with those who have already passed on.
I am often visited by My late father and brother; when I am in great distress they come to Me, soemtimes in odd ways, like the smell of My brother's cigarette smoke filing My room (I do not smoke and I live alone) or finding the trees outside My door heavy with crows--My familiar (yes, even as Catholic I still have a familiar!)--and the familiar of sorts of My father.
I look forward to reading and interacting in this community and learing about new things, sharing ideas and experiences.

oh, and this:
this is the best fortune i've ever pulled out of a fortune cookie:
Time flies. Suns rise and shadows fall. Let time go by. Love is forever over all.
if any of you are into yoga, you may recognize this:
sit with your spine comfortably erect. exhale completely. inhale through your nose, imagining a standing wave rising in your body. exhale through your nose, imagining light emanating from every pore of your skin. call on the spirit of firefly and ask:
be with me and help me to emanate light as naturally and effortlessly as you do.
do this for a few minutes. in addition to physical benefits such as calming your body, stilling your mind, helping blood pressure and heart rate, and balancing your nervous system, it has more spiritual effects--it improves your sense of personal boundaries, it protects you from others draining your energy, and it helps prevent you from unintentionally taking on other people's emotions and energies.
hi. i realize it's been a long while, and i haven't said a word. i'll be posting more, and hope to see more posts from you guys! here's a question--how do YOU define spiritualism?
i love you.

Hey, just wanted to let you guys know about Strangewire.com, a blog for all things paranormal, supernatural, and the like from legitimate news sources. Unlike the type of sites and columns that deal in "wacky news"-style articles about goofy work mishaps and amusing medical malpractice, Strangewire attempts to deal with phenomena that are part of a bigger question, from strange lights in the sky in the south-west US, to a man with claims of a haunting in Australia, from zombies and voodoo practice in Haiti to global government conspiracies. Fox Mulder's favorite blog, in other words. Recent articles include headlines such as "FLESH CHUNKS IN IOWA WATER LINES" and "NEW JAPANESE GHOST DETECTOR FOR SALE."

I was very interested to find this community. My husband is from England, and we lived over there for a few years. The neat thing about the UK is that almost every town has a Spiritualist church, so we were spoiled for the time we were there. We got to see a different medium every Sunday, and usually got a "reading" ourselves. There is a branch of the British Spiritualist Church near us, up in Portland (OR) but they don't have enough mediums in the area to support it properly.
While we were in England, we had the opportunitly to attend one of the many Spiritualist/Psychic weekend workshops, in Scarborough. What it taught me was that while I would LOVE to be more psychic and become a medium, my husband drgarum
doesn't even have to practice - he already sees dead people!
As far as Religion goes, I was raised Baptist, became Catholic in high school, and now at 27 my religion of choice is Wicca; in fact I have been called by our Clan to be initiated as Priestess next spring. I believe that anything that anyone else believes, as long as it is "upward reaching," in is a valid path. I often call in Jesus Christ as the God in my pagan rituals, along with a Greek Goddess of Healing, Hygeia. Let's just say I believe that all religions are equally valid paths to spirit. I definitely work on my chakras - every medium I met in England said that was the key to opening up to spirit. I feel my chakras as vividly as if they were physical organs. So I try to be very open to Spirit and subtle energies.
But I have the same frustration as some of you have already voiced - no Spiritualist churches nearby (at least none I want to attend!). If my husband and I try to do a reading, it's a waste of time because we already know everybody who's died. There's no way to practice, no-one to have a seance with, and no local organized group to help either.
What to the rest of you do to hone your mediumship skills?

The last week or so I've had some weird things going on in my room.
Every night, in the middle of the night while I am sleeping, things are being thrown off of shelves and off the walls. It happens a few times every night randomly. Pictures crashing to the floor, random books falling from the shelf, decorations on shelves falling on the floor. It's always REALLY loud and wakes me up every time. The strange thing is nothing has ever been broken or damaged.
I keep my bedroom door shut so no pets are causing this.
I don't feel any negative energies in my room or anywhere in my house.
I don't feel scared by this, I don't get any creepy feelings.
I'm just wondering what everyone thinks about this and if I SHOULD be freaking out.
I told my mom tonight and she freaked out saying I shouldn't be sleeping here haha.
Thanks in advance :).
Cross posted, sorry :(.
